Today 6/19/2020 was pretty awesome, I started with a new therapist (Lauren) at the clinic, and she really kicked my butt also ran into someone I never thought I'd run into named Lindsay Vos. We are both actually the University of Toledo graduates and stroke survivors. We have also had a couple of the same PT and OT so we all kinda know each other. A circle or community of stroke survivors, caregivers, and therapists is extremely important for our recovery both mental and physical. Lindsay is quite an inspirational person. She also contributes a lot of her success in her stroke recovery to being an athlete before her stroke. Please take a look at her link of stories about her and her recovery.
